Hexagons and Fresh Prints

Today I am featuring a card using the Fresh Prints and Six Sided Sampler.
I know I say this all the time, but I just LOVE this stamp set.
I have used it for so many occasions.
This one I made to give to a girl friend that has been down on her luck with some chocolates. 'Cause chocolates always make life better, right??
The washi tape on the left side is not SU, but I had to ad something, and it just looked so perfect.
It's Friday and I hope you can find some time to get some stamping in this weekend.

Sympathy Card - Gorgeous Grunge

I love using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to make backgrounds.
This one I used the colors of So Saffron, Smokey Slate and Pool Party.
I water colored the flowers in to give a soft look.

Happy Day - Petite Petals Bundle

I recently purchased the Petite Petals Bundle in the new Occasions catalog. And it's been fun to play with these new stamps and punch.
To create this card I took a strip of paper and punched out the flowers. I then laid the punched strip on the white and using stamping sponges I applied the ink colors of blushing bride and strawberry slush. I then stamped the flowers on the inked images. I stamped the flowers on some scraps of paper and punched.
Thanks for looking - be sure to check out the Petite Petals Bundle in the Occasions catalog.
You can always place an order on my website - link is to the right!

Card Version of CHOPPED

I love watching the TV show on Food "Chopped".
And although I am a decent cook, I couldn't handle the pressure of being on the show. But when my up-line suggested we have our own version of Chopped using SU products, I signed up.
So here's how it went.
Each person got the same supplies. And you could use any stamp set, embellishment, and additional paper to create your card. Everyone is sending their card back and then the others in the group are going to vote for their favorite. That person wins a prize!
So here's my entry - and my hope for a prize!
We were sent the large piece of red paper, the stripped paper, the brown scalloped circle, the paper doily sticker the ruffled ribbon, the red ribbon and arrow paperclip.
I added the polka dot paper, the red behind the polka dots, the red sentiment "Sweet Treats" the brad in the center of my scalloped flower.
Let me know what you think.
I am thinking about doing this with my regular card class ladies.

Late Valentine's Day

As many of you know I was down for two weeks with pneumonia. It's horrible. Don't ever get it, as it really wipes you out.
So I have been away for a bit.
So I am going to make it up to you this week.
Each day I will post one card I have created.
Today - Saturday is the first card.
This is Valentine's card that I made for my little nephew Wilder.
He was born just last month, but due to my brother and sister in law living 1000 miles away, we haven't met him in person yet.
But I don't want him to think his Auntie doesn't love him. So I have pledged to myself to send him cards, gifts and notes every couple of months. I just hope that his parents are holding these cards for him to have when he's older.
I used the Zoo Babies and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets, as well as the Alphabet embossing folder.
Happy Belated Valentine's Day to all!!
Check back each day this week for new posts!!
